Jason Barron

Jason Barron is an emerging professional classical guitarist based out of Winnipeg. Jason completed his Bachelor of Music Degree in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of Lethbridge where he studied under Dale Ketcheson. Jason is currently completing his Masters Degree in Classical Guitar Performance at the University of Manitoba Faculty of Music studying under Ryszard Tyborowski. Jasons concert for the WCGS will be his first professional concert engagement after graduating from the Masters program at the U of M. Jason has performed in Masterclasses with international artists such as Marcin Dylla (Poland) and Daniel Bolshoy (Isreal). The Winnipeg Classical Guitar Society is pleased to help Jason in his pursuit of a career as a concert classical guitarist and recognizes him as an outstanding emerging artist in the province.
