The Winnipeg Classical Guitar Society

Frets Alive 2019-2020

COVID-19 Statement March 14th/2020

It is with great regret the Winnipeg Classical Guitar Society will postpone all events for the next two months.

We received word this week that our last International Artist of the '19-2020 season,  The Italian guitar duo, Soloduo, has cancelled all touring until further notice. (Italy is currently in a lock down with a no travel ban)

After discussing with local artists and our board of directors we feel it is best to postpone our events temporarily.  Our March 28th Frets Alive and May 9th, Frets Alive will also be postponed. If you have bought a subscription, please stay tuned as we monitor the situation closely and will announce a rescheduled final International Artist concert and the remaining Frets Alive Concerts as soon as possible.

Take great care,

WCGS Board of Directors
